Collaborating with an interior design student and other fibers students we, as a team, created a hypothetical gallery space as well as textiles to fill the interior that is inspired by the artist Kara Walker. In this collaboration I aimed to create textiles and surfaces that worked with the overall function and style of the space and took inspiration from Kara Walker's work while not overpowering her black and white narratives.
